This job placement platforms enhancement assessment, sponsored by USAID CATALYZE: MS4G and conducted by PRIN International Consultancy and Research services, has the main objective of assessing job placement platforms to understand their strengths and gaps in service delivery. In line with this, accessibility of JPPs to job seekers and employers, strengths, and weaknesses of JPPs, and perception of job seekers, employers, and government stakeholders were assessed. In the five cities chosen for the survey, a total of 139 survey questionnaires were administered. Key informant interview was conducted with various individuals including job seekers, JPP representatives, employers, government stakeholders, and youth associations. A focus group discussion was held in each of the five cities, with a total of 35 job searchers participating. Ethio Jobs, Ezega, ET Careers, Employ Ethiopia, Geez Jobs, Hahu Jobs, Sira App, and Ethiopian Reporter Jobs are among the eight job placement portals that PRIN has audited.
